General Terms & Conditions

1.     General

The general terms and conditions of sale described below apply to all products sold exclusively on the website www.maison-tedis.com by the company MAISON tedis SA. They define the rights and obligations of each party.

MAISON tedis SA reserves the right to modify the content and format of these general terms and conditions of sale at any time and without prior notice.

Maison tedis SA is a company based at Chemin de Tracuit 19, CH-3967 Vercorin. Its legal representative is Mrs. Maria Taboada. The company is registered with the Commercial Register of the canton of Valais under registration number CHE-214.512.997. 2.     Products

The products available on the website www.maison-tedis.com, as well as the pictures of the said products on the site, are purely indicative and not contractual.

MAISON tedis SA undertakes to make the necessary efforts to ensure that the availability and photographic representation of the products on the website www.maison-tedis.ch are as faithful as possible to reality. However, given the static presentation mode of the products on the website, it is possible that the customer's perception may not exactly correspond to the actual products. It is also possible that between the time the order is placed and the shipment is confirmed, a product may be out of stock.

3.     Personal Data

MAISON tedis SA undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data provided by customers on www.maison-tedis.com and to process them in accordance with the applicable legal obligations in Switzerland.

MAISON tedis agrees to transmit personal data to third parties only to the extent necessary for the proper execution of the order, and under no circumstances will personal data be transmitted to third parties for commercial purposes.

Customer data may be used by the internal services of MAISON tedis SA:

- For order processing, delivery, and invoicing

To obtain your feedback in order to improve our products and your customer experience

- For the management of our loyalty program and the provision of customer benefits

The customer can refuse to receive informational or commercial communications from MAISON tedis at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

The customer agrees to provide the personal information necessary for the management of their order (delivery and invoicing). This information must be accurate and valid. Information regarding customer identification and password is strictly personal and should not be communicated to third parties.

4.     Sales Process

4.1.         Orders

The customer can browse through all the products available on the website, and once all the desired products are placed in the shopping cart, they can proceed to finalize the order and make payment.

Validation of the order by the customer constitutes acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale.

Once the order is validated and paid, the customer receives an order confirmation by email.

4.2.         Prices

The prices mentioned on the website www.maison-tedis.com are indicated including all taxes but do not include preparation and shipping fees when applicable. Shipping fees, when applicable, are displayed before the final validation of the order.

MAISON tedis SA reserves the right to modify the prices and other fees displayed on www.maison-tedis.com at any time and without prior notice. However, the prices in effect at the time of order validation remain valid even in case of price changes on the website.

4.3.         Product Display

MAISON tedis SA undertakes to make the necessary efforts to ensure that the visual display of the products offered on www.maison-tedis.com is as faithful as possible to reality. MAISON tedis SA undertakes not to make modifications or retouching intentionally altering the perception of one or more products. However, given the static presentation mode of the products, it is possible that the customer's perception of the product display may not exactly correspond to the actual products, especially for products containing a very high percentage of oils, whose color may slightly vary depending on the batches of raw ingredients used.

Payment for orders is made directly on the secure bank or postal servers of our partners, and your banking information does not transit through or is stored on our servers. All payments on the website www.maisontedis.com are perfectly secure.

Orders are validated upon receipt of payment. In the case of advance payment, the order is put on hold until payment is received.

The customer must fill out the payment form to validate the order. The customer's credit card or Postcard details are encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and do not transit through MAISON tedis SA servers. The advance payment is directly made to the bank or Post Office, and MAISON tedis SA does not have access to the customer's banking information.

4.5.         Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated at the end of the order, based on weight, volume, and the applicable rates of the carrier responsible for the delivery. If the order amount is less than 90 CHF in Switzerland and 130 CHF within the European Union, these costs are at the customer charge, and they will be billed 7.50 CHF for Switzerland and 30.- CHF for any country within the European Union.

MAISON tedis SA ships orders sold through the website www.maison-tedis.com operated in Switzerland. The products are exclusively sent to the delivery address indicated by the customer during the ordering process. Any request to change the delivery address after order confirmation must be sent in writing as soon as possible to MAISON tedis via the email address info@maisontedis.ch. MAISON tedis undertakes to do its best to make the address change, but cannot guarantee that the request can be fulfilled. 

From the order and confirmation of payment, the indicative delivery times are as follows:

2 to 4 business days for Switzerland

4 to 6 business days for a country within the European Union

4.6.         Returns, Withdrawal, and Refund

Items must be returned intact and complete in their original packaging with labels indicating their references, accompanied by the delivery slip, within 7 days after receipt of the package. The return shipping costs are at the customer charge. Only products purchased through the website www.maison-tedis.com, and returned according to the specified criteria, may possibly be subject to a refund. 

The return procedure is as follows:

Send an email to info@maisontedis.ch and explain the reason for the return

Wait for confirmation from MAISON tedis and then return the products to the address: MAISON tedis SA, Chemin de Tracuit 19, 3967 Vercorin, Switzerland

The product must be complete, properly protected, in its original packaging, with the film or individual protective packaging intact (unopened), and accompanied by all relevant accessories.

The product must be accompanied by the order number and the contact information of the person in charge of the return.

The product is inspected by the internal services of MAISON tedis, who will approve or disapprove the refund, particularly by verifying that the product has been returned complete and in a condition that is suitable for resale, as provided for in the right of withdrawal.

If the merchandise meets the return requirements, it may be eligible for a refund or exchange. The refund will be made using the same method as the initial payment.

4.7.         Complaints

Ownership of the Products is transferred upon delivery to the customer, and it is the customer's responsibility to check the condition of the package upon receipt, make any necessary reservations and complaints to the delivery person, and report them on the delivery note enclosed with the package. If the delivered products do not conform in nature or quality to the specifications indicated in the delivery note, such reservations and complaints must be addressed to MAISON tedis SA, Chemin de Tracuit 19, 3967, or info@maisontedis.ch within 48 hours of receiving the order, including any photos of the relevant package if possible. After this period, the consideration of the complaint may no longer be possible.

In the event of the customer's absence during the delivery, the customer must refer to the conditions of each delivery service provider to know the procedures for retrieving the product. 

The products on the website www.maison-tedis.ch are manufactured and distributed in accordance with the applicable Swiss legislation. MAISON tedis SA shall not be held liable for non-compliance with the legislation of any other country where the Product may be used.

5.     Applicable Law

These general terms and conditions of sale are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these general terms and conditions of sale or any sale to which they apply shall be settled in accordance with Swiss law, whether such dispute is of a contractual or tortuous nature or is based on another clause. The application of the 1980 United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Sion, Valais. 

The general terms and conditions of MAISON tedis SA are written in French and translated into other available languages on the website. In case of contradiction, the French version shall prevail.
